Punjabi Golfers Association (PGA) was formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1997 and has been active ever since. The stated goal of the organization is to popularize the game of golf within the Punjabi community. PGA strives to introduce golf to new players by avtively assisting those who wish to learn the game. PGA further works to contribute to society at large by holding tournaments in aid of specified charities.
This year PGA Ontario will contribute the net proceeds of from the golf tournament to the Pingalwara Charitable Society.
